File sharing services replicate any file added to them to all the other computers connected to the same account.  It does this without regard to what the file is. So if a virus or malware is added to the Dropbox folder, it will be replicated to all the other computers.

Since ICE prevents program files from getting on your computer without your knowledge, we recommend that you do not trust them.

DropBox takes the position that just because a virus/malware program file is on your computer doesn’t in itself do any harm and technically they are correct.
